Biography

Another folky novelty from the Dingles label (also home to Fiddler's Dram). Sheffield comedian Capstick had previously recorded as a straight folk artist before turning to comedy songs. Capstick Comes Home was a parody of the famous Hovis advert based on Dvorak's "From The New World", while the other side was used as theme music for BBC Radio Sheffield. Both featured the Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band.
