Biography

Daryl Dragon and Toni Tenille met while on tour backing the Beach Boys. They debuted in 1975 with "The Way I Want To Touch You" on A&M, which flopped, but "Love Will Keep Us Together" (on the Casablanca label) was a US no1 and Grammy winner later that same year and began a run of US hits. "Do That To Me One More Time" was their second US number one but also their last hit single as Toni then went solo.

A thought: If you had an ace showbizzy real name like "Daryl Dragon", would you use a boring stage name like "The Captain"?
