Biography
Synthpop five-piece were led by Richard James Burgess and hit with a protest song about the atomic bomb. The bomb was a common subject for pop songs in the early-to-mid 80s, with Nena, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and OMD all scoring big hits on the theme. Next single "Norman Bates" made no.40. After a failed relaunch as Landscape III in 1983, Burgess became a producer and worked with acts including Spandau Ballet, King, Five Star, Living In A Box and one-hit wonder Colonel Abrams.
