Biography
Mairrhii Wilson was born in Scotland but was based in London. She had a 60s look (beehive hairdo) and sound, and was backed by the Wilsations (formerly The Imaginations) which at various times included future solo hitmakers Julia Fordham and Michelle Collins. The flop follow-up to her hit was Beware Boyfriend, while subsequent single Cry Me A River heralded a move into jazz.
