Biography

Conducted and arranged by Louis Clark, who had previously worked with acts including ELO. A medley inspired by the "Stars On 45" phenomenon, it became a surprise hit which even more surprisingly got to no10 in the USA too! Follow-ups included Hooked On... Can Can, Mendelssohn, Baroque, Amadeus, America, Rodgers And Hammerstein, Romance, Hadyn and many more. The Portsmouth Sinfonia even charted with a parody version, Classical Muddley.
