Even in 1980, the near-instrumental "Et Les Ouiseaux Chantient" sounded like something from a bygone age. One of the last old-style easy-listening hits, it was made by a French group led by 31-yr-old pianist Alain Morisfod. Alain was already a veteran in France with 23 LPs to his credit. The unsuccessful follow-up single was "Lake Como".
