Biography

The Tweets were a British session group who had the UK hit version of this novelty instrumental (no, those words you remember singing to it were NOT on the record!), a big European hit for Electronicas the previous year. First released in 1973 as Tchip Tchip, it remains much hated.

The act tried to cash in on its success with other novelties like the immediate follow-up Let's All Sing Like The Birdies Sing, Tweets On 45 and Plump Song and were still around in 1985 when they released Patricia, but eventually The Tweets flew South for good..
